Raw Cranberry Sauce
I love this cranberry recipe! It is the perfect combo of sour and sweet. It can be made in advance as it only gets better as the flavors meld.
My sister and I have been making this since my children were young. We have always had a thing for cranberries but when we discovered this raw recipe, it was a game changer. I usually double this recipe.
You can use apple juice as a sweetener also.
Ingredients
3 cups fresh cranberries
2 apples chopped in less than 1 inch pieces, preferably a sweeter variety
1 cup raisins
1 tablespoon lemon juice
maple syrup, agave or sweetener of choice to taste
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a food processor. Process well if you want it smooth or less if you want a chunkier sauce. Let sit overnight in refrigerator. Stir well and taste. Add maple syrup or sweetener of choice to desired sweetness.
